Thanksgiving, Macy’s, and History
The dressing is in the crock pot, the potatoes au gratin are in the other crock pot,and the hams are in the slow roaster oven. I’ve done all the prep I can for now, so it’s time for the parade! My mother always watched the parade while she prepared for Thanksgiving – so I’ve got it on too. I actually just got to see the ribbon cutting and the real beginning of the parade! Enjoy your day, and check out the history of the parade. Thank you Macy’s and Happy Thanksgiving!
Hope your holiday was a good one. Ours was restful and relaxing–no dinner at home, but went to Sizzler Steakhouse where the dinner wasn't too bad.. It was a day reserved only for my wife and I and I kind of liked it that way, but I missed my home cooked meal.
Wishing you well in the Christmas Season ahead.
