Ready, Set, GO!
My Post Plans:
My theme is Words – a word a day with the definition and then a short “blurb” inspired by such. Usually I put pictures with my posts – but am not planning to with these. If time permits and inspiration hits, maybe. The word will be in the title – so hopefully some of them will catch readers attention.
Visiting Blogs:
I have installed the visit blog buttons provided by Marcus at Writing Investigated for my own use and yours if you’d like to (look under the A to Z badge in my sidebar). Feel free to install the buttons on your own page if you like, he has provided code and detailed instructions how to do it. I don’t know how many I’ll get to each day, but hope to visit every blog signed up at least once. Weekends may be my real catch up time.
Followers:
I plan to follow the blogs that look interesting to me. I am not going to follow just to “follow”. I will pay special attention to those with few followers, I remember how much it meant to me to get to 50, and then the followers just started showing up and I still get a thrill every time I see my number increase.
Comments:
I will try to comment on every blog I visit, even if it is just to say “hello, Sheila was here”. As to comments made on my blog, I will try at the end of the day to respond in one “mass” reply. If you want to see that, please choose to receive emails for “follow-up comments”.
Happy blogging everyone – let’s have fun!
Sounds like a good plan. Today is starting to have a kind of "day before a holiday" feel to it, which I'm enjoying!
good set of policies, I'm doing some planning today as well. good luck!
Sounds like a plan!
This sounds fun! I'm looking forward to what you come up with. Have a great day!
Go Sheila! I'm going to be writing about characters from the Bible, just short little ditties about them. We'll see how it works!
Great plan, Sheila.
Really liked the answer comment idea.
Mary
Good luck :O)
This is the first I've heard of the A-Z challenge but it sounds like fun. I'm a pretty random topic kind of blogger so I need to think but I might give it a try. Thanks for the info! I'll be interested to see what everyone does!
Good luck with your challenge! I'm not a very prolific writer so I'm afraid to take on a post-a-day challenge, but I greatly admire anyone who does!
Thanks for this post. Sounds like you are prepared. I have been using the buttons that Marcus created and find them to be very effective and I'm able to go thru the list much more quickly using them.
Have fun in April!
