Snowy Insecurities
Snow from last year . . . |
I was reminded this weekend that no matter how far I have come, it is easy to forget and fall back into old patterns of thinking. I was surprised to discover that the insecurities of my teenage years can be pulled up at a moment’s notice.
I also realized one of the values of a snow day – you can stop and enjoy the moment without feeling guilty for not working. I am losing hope of any real snow this year, so I dug up this picture of my back yard from last year and plan to pretend this is the view outside my kitchen window today.
I am with you G/F but I keep praying we will have at least one good one before the winter is over-growing up I remember we had some really good snows in March-there is still hope!!

We all need those quiet moments of non-guilt! Doubt NC will get any snow this year.
