Tomato Sandwiches
Summer is coming and one of the best things about it is having tomato sandwiches. I can’t remember the first time I had a tomato sandwich, and I hope I don’t ever remember my last one. Now, there are two best ways to have a tomato sandwich.
1. Take the tomato fresh out of the garden, rinse off, and slice thick. Take two pieces of white bread, slather with mayonnaise, put on tomato, sprinkle with pepper.
2. Take tomato, put in refrigerator. Take out chilled tomato, slice thick. Take two pieces of white bread, slather with mayonnaise, put on tomato, sprinkle with pepper.
**If you want a little variety, put on a slice of cheddar cheese.
Now I can’t wait!

Man, I loved those every summer at my uncles house…fresh tomoatoes just picked off the vine, mayo, and my aunts bread…yummmmmmmm!
Sounds so good! I remember one summer growing up, we had a lot of toasted bread, tomato, lettuce and cheese sandwiches! All so delicious! And fresh tomatoes from one's garden are indeed the best!

I don't love tomatoes sliced, but I love a grilled cheese sandwich dipped in tomato soup. Does that count for T day? Enjoyed your yummy post!
Wow! I am so happy that I found your blog 🙂 Tomatoes are a favorite of mine since I was a little kid. Sweet, juicy tomatoes!

I LOVE tomato sandwiches!!! I prefer mine on toasted bread, though. Either white or light rye. 🙂
Fantastic summer treat.
Oh, yeah… just found you on the blog hop. Happy A to Z'ing!
I always enjoyed eating sliced tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. My late grandparents were big fans of tomato sandwiches—straight out of the garden.
Yum! I'm getting some great tomato sandwich ideas for the summer! Avocado and basil are also my favorites, so I'll definitely add them. 🙂
