My book club decided to do a cookie exchange this year and I confess to mixed emotions, I don’t make cookies much anymore. It’s cheaper and faster to just buy a pack of Oreos <\/a>or Pecan Sandies<\/a> or Chunky Chips Ahoy<\/a>. But nonetheless – I looked at some recipes (love this Betty Crocker<\/a> site!), made my choices (we were to make more than one kind), went to the store, bought the ingredients and voila! Cookies!<\/b> There was a real sense of satisfaction – I even made a frosted cookie which I don’t remember ever doing before.
