What is a desideratum in my life? What do I consider necessary? What I desire and what I consider necessary can be two different things. A few thoughts:
Necessary: God, Love, Basic physical needs (shelter, food)
Desire: Family, Friends, Fun, Writing
I’m sure there are more, but this is first run thought. What is desideratum in your life?

HM…how about laughter and the ability to see the humor in any situation.
Knitting! When I get old and don't have much money and have to choose between food and yarn … well…
I am still trying to sort out that question.
My list would look much like yours. I guess I'd add 'purpose' in there too.

Desideratum – what a wonderful word! *hmm* It's a difference, if something is desired or necessary. I mean, I desire to go backpacking for a couple of months to India, but is it necessary?!?!

My list is similar to yours. God first and foremost. Family, friends, physcial needs. Also, for me, creativity through various outlets, music, art, writing, theatre…
