New York City . . . one of my favorite things
I love going to New York City. I love the energy, the diversity, the “aliveness” of it all. The last time I was there my husband and I had breakfast in a deli and just watched all the people coming in and out of the cold (it was February). I loved listening to the multitude of languages and accents. I have a dream of my husband and I retiring in NYC. Selling out car, living in a flat in Chelsea, and enjoying life amongst the masses. It probably won’t happen – but I love the dream.
i am afraid of nyc, never been. but you (& movies) make it more inviting!
I grew up in one of its boroughs and went into the city itself off and on. It is definitely vibrant and alive and also layered and complex. 🙂
The people-watching doesn't get any better than NYC.
It's been years since I visited New York.
I loved my visit to New York, two years ago. We stayed just off Times Square and the theatre where Daniel Radcliffe was performing – magical 😉
I hope you go Tara – it is an amazing place!
I live in a suburb of the city which is perfect for me. I have access anytime I want, but can escape the 24/7ness which, much as I love it, needs to be turned off on occasion : )
New York is a special place. You either love it or hate it. I'm sort of in between.
