R + enascent = RENASCENT
re·nas·cent
[ri-nas–uhnt, –ney-suhnt] –adjective
being reborn; springing again into being or vigor
After participating in this blogging challenge I must admit, I have a need to be renascent. I’m a little weary, and yet the discipline I know is laying groundwork for the future in my writing. Skipping around to only a fraction of the almost 1300 participants (Arlee didn’t you say there were not quite 100 who did this last year?), I have had seeds planted on writing styles, blog design, themes, topics, scheduling, and who knows what else. I have this sneaking suspicion that a month from now I feel renascent and I will indeed be springing again into a new writing life. This experience is having as much impact on me as participating in NaNoWriMo last November. Thank you Arlee for this opportunity.
It's been great so far, hasn't it? I hear you, though — I'm starting to feel a little weary, too. Almost there!
Just a little more than a week! And yes, we only had 100 of us last year.
Sheila, you're getting close to the 200 mark in followers! that's awesome!
I've loved this challenge too, but like you, I have'nt been able to connect with all of the participants like I wanted to.
I'm loving these words that you are picking out!
I agree with what you said. This has been a wonderful experience for me too.
This is my first blog challenge ever. It's exhausting but so much fun to read blogs and get comments and followers. I've also been inspired with blogging ideas…design, themes, etc.
I did not participate in this last year. It seemed such a daunting task. What I have gained from this challenge is the realization I am capable of producing every day. I have met so many wonderful bloggers along the way too.
The best part about Easter is the renascent boost to my faith 🙂 I have really enjoyed your words Sheila what a great idea!
I also love the word renascent.
I think I might join this challenge next year since it's been so wonderful for the participants.
