Simple Changes
Funny what a simple change will do. We’ve had our dog for two years now. A Jack Russell Terrier (JRT), she is full of energy but a wonderful lap dog and quite loving. She is crate-trained for night and when we are gone for more than an hour. We’ve always kept the crate in the family room in the basement. A couple of weeks ago I decided to move her crate upstairs with us, in our home office. This means I don’t have to go up and down the stairs to let her out or put her in when I go to work. Not only is this easier on my knees, she is much happier. She will now go into her crate without being led on a leash, she can see out the window during the day, and I think she’s just happier in general. A simple change has made life better for all of us.
Simple changes – sometimes they are the most effective change of all.
I was actually thinking about her recently. Daisy, if I remember correctly.
