Remembering . . . one of my favorite things
I like to remember, even the “bad” things. Out of the bad things I either remember the good that came out of it or I (hopefully) remember the lesson learned that will keep me from making the same mistake.
Most of my memories though are good. My wedding day, the birth of each of my three children, family, traveling, working, vacations, friends, the list grows each day.
Remembering – a good thing to do.
I am enjoying reading about all your favorite things. One of our previous prime ministers recently died and she suffered dementia. That is sad, to have governed a country but not remember doing it.
Most of my memories are good! I've had a happy life.
Most of my memories are good too–but even the not so good ones bring me joy now, looking back. Lovely post, Sheila!!

I can recall with great detail the first couple of years raising my little boy. Those were joyous years!
I was sad to hear about Margaret Thatcher, I respected her a lot. I agree, it is sad that at the end of her life she wasn't able to remember what she had accomplished.
I like remembering too…I don't do it as well as I used to : )
