Saving Money

January 3, 2009 by Sheila Siler

It’s interesting looking at everything before I buy anything. I find that most things I can do without or wait for (movies for example – Netflix has a waiting list). In trying to make my life simple and less “cluttered”, I think I can save money that I don’t even know I’m spending right now. In selling unwanted books at Edward MacKay I find a problem – can’t spend the credit because I’m getting pickier about what I want to buy. I read where the library has seen an increase in business with the economy being in tough times. I think that’s true for me too. Why buy, even used, when I can borrow? My tax dollars are paying for the library anyway – shouldn’t I use it? Interesting times.
