U + biquitous = UBIQUITOUS
u·biq·ui·tous
[yoo-bik-wi-tuhs]–adjective existing or being everywhere, especially at the same time; omnipresent: ubiquitous fog; ubiquitous little ants.
Mothers want to be ubiquitous. Sometimes our children think we are ubiquitous. I want to be ubiquitous. Sometimes because of cell phones, the internet, and all the modern technology, I feel like I am ubiquitous. But, not being God, I am not. That’s probably a good thing in the grand scheme of life.
I think maybe that’s why I like to read fiction and to write stories. As both a reader and a writer, I DO get to be ubiquitous. I can be everywhere at once.
How about you – do you wish you were ubiquitous?
Definitely!!
with three kids involved in all kinds of activities, I've been thinking it would be nice to have a clone or two. But ubiquitous? Somehow I think of that with a slightly negative connotation…
Love your blog!
I just wish cell phones weren't so ubiquitous.
This is a word I always have to look up when I come across it in my readings. I always forget the definition. Thanks for reminding me again. LOL
Never thought of myself as ubiquitous when writing, but you're right!
