definition from dictionary.com
Do you ever feel like abandoning your dream? Does it seem impossibly far away? Everyone faces it sometime. What do you do? How do you press on? I have a purposely small circle of supporters that I hold close that will always encourage me. It isn’t that they say – “oh, you’re great -you can do it”. But rather they listen to my doubts, let me talk it out, and then, help me look down deep inside to see if the dream is still there – if so, THEN they say, “you can do it!”.
Do you have a circle? If not, you need to get one.
Let me add my voice to your circle – You Can Do It!
Enjoy A to Z!
Working on one. Years ago I dealt with a life crisis, looked around and everyone had deserted me. Still rebuilding.(Much more carefully this time!)
Yes, I'm very glad to have a circle of supporters. I do have a tendency to abandon my writing goals in favor of more "practical" pursuits, but I do always come back to it.
Nope. I can't abandon it,it consumes me now! 😉
Thanks for following my blog, glad I found yours too. Happy Scribing!
I haven't abandoned mine but sometimes it does seem out of reach. I have a circle though : )
You have been part of my circle since 1989! Thanks for being there, my friend!
That's a great post! We shouldn't abandon our dreams and having friends to help us look inside is awesome. You go girl! Good stuff here.
My circle is very small too and this year I lost one very important member from that circle – my sister. It is a huge loss for me. But I am building it up and like a previous commenter, I am being careful.
Great start.

One of my mottos is "never give up." Never give up on people. And never give up on your dream. I'm very thankful for the people in my life who support my dreams.
Thankfully, I do have a circle I can depend on…your post has made me think of and appreciate those people today!!
I’m now following you on GFC and I hope you have a chance to check out my blog!

great post, thanks for stoppng by god luck with the rest of the challenge looking forward to seeing what you come up with
Sheila – I prefer to think of abandon as doing something without a care as in Blogging with Abandon!! 🙂
Circles are good, nice and round, no beginning no end, just endless perfect support!
Thanks for the encouragement! 🙂

Some dreams won't let you abandon them. They bug you while you're trying to sleep and stalk you when you're working.
It's good to have a circle of positive people. There's plenty of negative out there already.
Thank you everyone for the comments, this was a lot of fun today. Sorry I can't make more comments here, but I'm kinda loopy from some pain medication I'm on (tore a knee ligament today). See you tomorrow!
I enjoyed your post; A circle is important, it surrounds one with encouragement and truth!
Sheila I believe you will inspire a lot of introspection with your provocative word posts. Thanks for stopping by my blog and I am glad I found yours!
